The needs of each of our service users are key to the planning and delivery of tailored care at all times
We support service users in their own homes. This ensures that….
Each time our carers engage with our service users, they do so in ways that are respectful, meaningful and favourable for building long-term rapport with them.
Homecare and Supported Living are specialist areas of care delivery that involve working in the home of the service user and coming into their domain. It becomes very important, therefore, for carers working in the way that we do, to respect the client at all times and to exercise extreme levels of courtesy. Our team members are, accordingly, trained and supervised with regard to good conduct, respect, and Data Protection, among other key skills.
Our care delivery team is made up of members who are highly skilled in delivering care, and who receive support with continuous professional development and mandatory training to remain up-to-date in their competence and skill sets.
Our team of managers has combined experience of more than 45 years providing innovative and evidence-based social care solutions that improve health and quality of life for those in need of home-based healthcare services, Addax is one of the most experienced homecare companies in the industry, with an approach to quality care that focuses on commitment to reaching levels of service user engagement, care delivery expertise, skills training, patient care delivery, review and monitoring that are unmatched across the industry.
Living with complex medical conditions, mental illnesses, or learning disabilities can sometimes be characterised by difficulties in regulating emotions. Our team members are trained to a high standard, which equips them with knowledge and skills to understand the nature and symptoms of each of the various psychological and physical conditions that our client group live with. This boosts their competence to deliver care at the high standards that are required and ensures maximum safety and support in times of distress and/or confusion.
Our care coordinators will assess the needs of each service in a thorough manner before the delivery of care begins. Risks and care needs are reviewed and assessed continuosly during the period of delivering care.
We provide care in ways that respect the choices of each service user. This facilitates individualised care planning and working in ways that our service users choose, which boosts their quality of life.
The care staff that we allocate to each of our clients are carefully selected on basis of their match to the needs of the client. This ensures that when then they assist clients with participating in activities, carers do so in a fun-filled manner that makes each activity memorable and more than a tick box on an activities list.
It is sometimes difficult for elderly people to continue to participate in community activities in the way that they used to previously. Our carers bridge this gap by supporting each service user, according to care plans and risk assments, to access the community to participate as needed. We assist with attending leisure actities, attending appointments, e.t.c.
We understand that caring for someone is a responsibility that is continuous. Therefore, we provide attentive, person-centred-care 24 hours each day to our service users, to ensure that they have the support that they need at any time of the day.
